7red7 Funny and clever little song almost forgotten by one of THE BEST American Synth Bands you might have NEVER heard of...which is ashame...they disappeared before the music was able to explode on the synth scene...good news is they are BACK and are releasing fantastic new music...they just keep getting BETTER and BETTER...this reworking/remix off their 1st EP shows how BRILLIANT they are...I just HOPE they finally get the attention they deserve...John Allen Moore lyrics are nothing short of genius! lyrics

I know it’s wrong
I have to complain
All of the DJ’s play the same
Why don’t they play
Something I like
I have a request

I wanna hear
Serious Rhythm
Not the same old ball and chain
I wann hear
Serious Rhythm
Go and ask for it by name

I go to clubs
In my good clothes
I stick up my hair
They stick up their nose
They’ll probably play
Something like Vogue
Or Depeche Mode

I wanna hear
Serious Rhythm
Not the same old ball and chain
I wann hear
Serious Rhythm
Go and ask for it by name

Every once in a long while
I hear a new song
A brand new style
One with a message
One with a meaning
All about death and screaming

Serious Rhythm
Not the same old ball and chain
I wanna hear
Serious Rhythm
Go and ask for it by name
I wanna hear
Serious Rhythm
Not the same old ball and chain
I wanna hear
Serious Rhythm
Go and ask for it by name
